How to choose your linen...Knowing a bit about thread count, weight and some buzz words will help you make choices to suit your needs when buying linens. Add the number of weft threads (left to right) and warp threads (up and down), and you have thread count per square inch. 200 t/c qualifies to be named Percale cotton or linen or hemp. 90gsm is a skinny fabric, 300gsm would suit upholstery.
